Meet Jonas
Jonas Kupreščenkovas is the owner and Editor-in-Chief of OverthinkingGeek.com. With a passion for computers and gaming since childhood, I decided to turn my hobbies into something more. This started off in 2024 with the YouTube channel ThePinkElephant, where I started making various gaming videos. In 2026 I decided to expand and launch OverthinkingGeek.com to share more of my thoughts on a brand new medium.
My background and expertise covers programming, technical writing, software testing and marketing. I hold a Bachelor degree in Programming Systems from Kaunas Vytauto Didžiojo University (VDU).
When I'm not geeking out on some sci-fi show or a cool video game, I'll be working behind the screen or spending some time at the gym.

Human-written, up-to-date and factually accurate content
With the rise of AI more and more of the things we see online are produced by by artificial inteligence. To keep the internet human friendly, I write all the content by hand and go through multiple reviews to ensure factual accuracy.

No outside investors
I am proud to state that OverthinkingGeek.com is completely independent and 100% owned by one person. All the content is made by me, including copy writing, scripting, filming and video editing.
This allows me to have no outside influence on what I say, keeping my reviews honest and reputable.
How do I finance the site
At the moment I fully fund this site out of pocket from my regular 9-5 job. I spend as much time as I can on new content and videos, but so far this is mostly a hobby. Perhaps I'll get lucky and one day this will turn into a side-hussle or even a full time endeavour.
